2010 International Chinese new Talent Singing Competition Championship (Sydney Region)
When: 3/7/2010
Time: -
Where: Sydney Wesly Threatre
Name: Fly With Me/飛女正傳Episodes: 25
Genre: Modern, Supernatural
Cast: Ada Choi, Moses Chan, Raymond Cho, Kenny Wong etc
My Comments: Firstly I want to say this series is... very.. "超無聊" and ... "誇張" and also "九唔Dap八" For those who don't understand, "Very Stupid" and "Very exaggerating" and "not on track? lol dunno how to translate"
Anyway, in the beginning it was a bit more interesting but it went totally boring, i think this series is suitable for 20 episodes more, 25 is just too much and wasting time. And cast isn't appealing too. It was overall stupid.. == I don't mind the idea about "super woman" but they did it in a weird and wrong way. Aren't super mans supposed to help the world and stuff? While Janet Bin does weird stuff... and then all that "人格分裂" (How Ada and Janet Bin turns into TWO people) was totally stupid. And especially with the relationships, there were very draggy. And if this series is supposed to be genre-ed 'comedy' then i say it totally failed...EPIC fail...
Oh and I nearly forgot to mention, the themevideo part, not like it was really a themevideo but anyway, they say something about Ada turns into Janet Bin and keeps world peace and all that, I'm like.. "Since WHEN??" I'm glad I never anticipated it, or else bigger disappointment.. And seriously... what's WITH Moses hairstyle?? It's white... and so fake.. O.O And old.. I think the storyline was totally 九唔Dap八, I don't even know how to say it, but it just is.
Characters: Ada Choi (Leung Hau Chi/Yvonne/Janet Bin) - Don't have anything against the characters just that the storyline was so stuffed up... O.O
Moses Chan (Kan Ming Hin/Wallace) - Yeah...his WHITE hair.. =.=" It was a bit funny when he turned into Golden Billy though.
Raymond Cho (Tsui Wing Fai/Frankie) - I actually enjoyed watching him the most. He was a tad more interesting with the plotting revenge and stuff. He loves Yvonne ALOT.. since school... He should stop loving her already.. ==
Kenny Wong (Yeung Ho Yin/Edmond) - I realized that in this series, every main character has a english name and that EVERYONE calls them by that name too haha XD I don have much to say about each character really... so u see its very short.
RelationshipsAda & Moses - I think the end was just weird for them. I mean, Yvonne has stopped liking Wallace and suddenly you see them deeply in love with each other O.o What the hell. I just DON'T get how Moses suddenly love Ada in there... weird..
Ada & Raymond - Poor Raymond. He loves Yvonne so much but Yvonne never loved him at all, she liked both other guys in the series BUT Raymond.
Ada & Kenny - Hmm.. I think it's a bit overboard how he went out with her JUST to find data about Janet Bin and wanting to kill her or something. TOO overboard, thats another thing I forgot to mention in comments.

My Rate to this series: 3.5/10
I'm sure everyone has realized that Dayo has wore the same checkered shirt, T-shirt and black coat in You're Hired EVERY single scenes (except one). Since I have been re-watching TCTU, I realized that Dayo does the SAME thing in TCTU too!! Haha, that is so funny. He ALWAYS wears that green coat, as shown above! ^^ If not, you'll see him in the gym with his brown jacket, and it's the same jacket every time he goes to the gym! XD
Dayo is so funny! Love him both You're Hired and TCTU. XDAnyway, image guessing la~ Seems like not everyone guessed Shirley ^^
Thanks for guessing!
1st: Tavia Yeung - Fathers and Sons2nd: Linda Chung - Best Bet
3rd: Shirley Yeung - Forensic Heroes II (guestrole)
Anyway, as you can see, I've changed the banner and look again haha! XD I didn't really like the Macy one much. Yeah, I've used this layout for a while and yes, I DO want to change it but I don't seem to find a good one yet, so I will stick to this one for now.Anyway, I hope you like this new banner and background. I tried some new textures with the header. And I made a new button for this layout, haven't made one in ages...lool. Hope everyone likes it. ^^ Check it out by clicking on 'profile'
Sorry, I haven't been updating for a while, it's because of my exams, I had to study and etc. I will still have exams but now schedule is better. So decided to write short review. Btw, is it Sisters OF Pearl or IN Pearl O.O
Title: Sisters Of PearlMy Thoughts: Have currently watched 10 episodes. I did not look forward to this series at all, because one, the cast isn't very appealing, and second that because it's pre-modern. I've heard that Jessica is very evil in here. At first when I started watching, I thought Jessica would be like seriously evil. But I don't really think she's THAT evil, yea, you could say 'smart'. I recon the REAL evil is Bowie Lam!! He's seriously evil, he got Macy to kinda hate Jessica because of that Japanese guy incident. I didn't watch the next ep coz of studying. But yea, I think it was solved later. And THEN, Bowie tries to get Joyce Tang out of the family. He's sure evil to make it one bird and two stones by getting Joel into it too, so he can't help Jessica.
I don't like Kiki Sheung's character, I think she's quite...slow and dumb in this series. While Jessica the second sister is smart and the third sister is a spoiled brat. I like Macy, but her character is so spoiled it's sometimes annoying. I guess she'll change throughout the story. But I do look forward to her story with Joel. For Joel, I do enjoying watching him, though we've seen many of these 'good' roles but I guess it's coz it's pretty much the FIRST or fewer times that Joel plays so nice. Most of his roles are like.. greedy or evil... or some sort. Also enjoy watching Michael Tao, he's not as evil. Joyce is funny, she has a sad past though. Getting abused by her husband.
This series is long, 30 episodes, so I hope it won't start getting me disappointed... coz I don't think it's so bad at the moment.

My Comments:Never anticipated and was boring. Never watched the ending to this and also missed some episodes, therefore not going to write a full review, just some small thoughts to it. The ONLY thing i enjoyed about this series was Him Law and Mandy Wong's relationship. They were interesting to watch, the ONLY interesting part of the series. I recon the cast wasn't appealing at all. I actually like Sharon and Joe more as a couple. Don't know why but anyway, I don't really know the ending but guessing that Flora ended with Joe? I recon this series is very STUPID... how he's an undercover to check Flora out. SO stupid. And he stays there for so long, no excitement to the series at all. Only some parts were more interesting. eg. Him goes to the Herbal Tea Shop because he got injured. And etc.
Also, I think Power's character is very.. weird. He's really bias. Starts hating and changing his view on Him after discovering that he's Joe's brother. I seriously DON'T get why he hates Joe THAT much. Or did I miss some part telling? I don't think so? He keeps picking on Joe. What was he ending anyway? I think his character was a bit over exaggerated. Guess he doesn't like Joe coz he only has a look but nothing else and that the fact his sister, Sharon Chan likes him.
Lol, was Louis' character really necessary?
10 - OL Supreme (27 points)
I've only watched a few episodes of this, it's quite funny. Look forward to watching the rest since TVBJ will start airing next week. Yea, slow aye..9 - Fly With Me (27 points)
Currently watching Fly With Me, every episode is quite interesting to watch, there isn't much boring scenes at the moment. Hope it will still be good the whole way through.8 - The Beauty Of Game (28 points)
I enjoyed watching Beauty of Game. It shows us the reality of the entertainment circle. I really enjoy watching series that talk about the entertainment circle. Though this series was a bit exaggerating, it wasn't all that bad.7 - The Season Of Fate (28 points)
This drama wasn't that bad or good. The cast was appealing at first, it did get a little bit interesting but it wasn't one of the best. It probably will be out of top 10 by the end of the year.6 - Suspects Of Love (28 points)
I can't believe Suspects Of Love got ranked quite high. It was one boring series. Again, the cast wasn't appealing to me. I don't think I will write a review for it. (Might write a short thoughts) I actually liked the couple Joe and Sharon more. I think this series is very stupid... getting a CID as a undercover into a herbal tea shop? WTH?!5 - In The Eye of Beholder (28 points)
This drama was at first good and interesting and also funny to watch but yea, it obviously got boring towards the middle. I guess around ep 7, after finding Ah Mo is Tong Bak Fu and then their relationship starts to have problems. And all that history book research and Bao Sai Kit thing was PLAIN boring...4 - The Bronze Teeth IV (29 points)
My Better Half's cast is once again not appealing but it was one interesting and funny drama to me. I enjoyed watching this drama. Both Michael's did well, seeing Maggie again was nice :) Don't have much to talk about this series.2 - A Watchdog's Tale (32 points)
Watchdog was a light hearted series, you can't say its a really good series nor bad. I think this series is average. But it was enoyable. I do like the couple Linda and Steven. Didn't like Linda's hairstyle but yea, lol. Wu Chun... Really DOES look like him haha.1 - A Fistful Of Stances - (37 points)
Yay! AFOS is on No.1 XD It was one great drama! I really enjoyed watching it. The series was epic. Dominic's evilness.... Kenneth's smartness... Natalie's character development, very sad... KS was a cute couple.... etc etcRead my series review if you wanna know more of my thoughts, click on series reviews and find it.

My Comments:
Four posters... three FungYi and one KxB. There weren't much Kenneth and Bernice pictures so yea. And that poster is quite simple too. Which poster is your favorite? I can't really choose, I actually like all haha. But if I have to choose one, it'd be one of the FungYi ones... prob the dark one? Or the one that JUSt says TMOL. I've realized most of my graphics are light themed... lol. Should try more dark since they're nice.
p.s. i like kenneth's smile there! One on the bottom of KxB poster ^^ Haha. Omg... I really look forward to MOL!!! XD
BLENDS:

My Comments:
I don't like the Raymond one I made at all... The font wrecked it..lol. But the picture of him is nice. :) For the Kenneth ones, I like the first one more. Both of them, I added this texture, makes it look more interesting but the second one totally failed... I shouldn't of used that texture. Lol. What does everyone think?
I wish Natalie all the best, in her life, her career and everything ^^Wish her good luck with everything. :D

Lol, 3 of them of Ah Ngan are crying, nevermind, her character cries a lot, which expression do you like most? (I think many people will choose Smiling) Please vote!I personally like Smiling, Crying/sad and Worried ^^ What about you?
Name: A Fistful Of Stances/鐵馬尋橋Episodes: 25
Genre: Pre-modern, Family, Kung-Fu
Cast: Yuen Chao, Kevin Cheng, Kenneth Ma, Selena Li, Dominic Lam, Kara Hui, Natalie Tong, Shirley Yeung, Jacky Heung, Nancy Wu etc
My Comments:OMG! I miss the drama already!! Lol. I've anticipated this series and then reading and synopsis, i thought maybe it won't be such a good series, so don't have high expectations but no! It was a great drama! Every single episode was very interesting, I couldn't let myself miss even a episode (though i did, coz i can't help it, had to go out and missed the ep) I think this series is very unpredictable at times, I can never guess what Kenneth is up to. There were also some unexpected cast like Angela Tong, Ram Chiang, Jack Wu and etc. There many touching, sad and funny warm family scenes. Which makes people feel emotional when they watch. Could really feel their family warmth. The story really reminds us of Moonlight Resonance. Like Hor Ma, Yuen Chao also have lots of kids to look after and also even a 'Lor Nui' Tavia in MR and Natalie in Fistful. And both paired/likes their older brother. And also a Sa Yi. Uncle Cheung. Uncle Cheung is one funny character, he makes the story funny.
I loved and enoyed watching the scenes where Kenneth gathers people and starts talking, every single scene of those are epic. Like the one how he goes to Wing Dak's house and makes Selena lie about his asthma. And etc etc. Episode 22 was also another epic scene! How Dominic pretends to see his son on the stage but actually is someone else (But yeah, it IS his son, he was pretending) That was one epic scene i recon XD.
The scene where they finally found their father's dead body was so sad. All of them were crying calling 'father'. Was also very sad that Ram died, I never expected his death but yet he died. So sad.
Characters:Yuen Chao (Au Yeung Wai Lan) - There was one scene I really liked. Was where Kevin comes home and starts complaining about the family and says that Kenneth is a coward. Yuen Chao then comes and says Kenneth ain't a coward. He tried everything he can but in return, he got the asthma. That scene was so sad, i cried. ): It was very mean of Dominic to accuse Tavia of writing all the letters and saying she was a crazy woman and forcing her to go to the mental hospital, luckily she didn’t in the end, she had to plead to the officer.
Kevin Cheng (Koo Yue Cheung) - Personally, I find Kevin's role a bit boring. I didn't like how he kinda surpassed Kenneth in fighting. ): But anyway, if it wasn't him, he won't win the competition. It was weird in the scene where Nataiie gets raped and shes crying at the dinner table but no one notices but Kevin.. Kinda weird... They made it like they don't care about Ah Ngan.
Kenneth Ma (Koo Yue Tong) - Tong Gor Jai! I love him! Loved Kenneth’s character the most, he was smart and can fight well. Didn’t like how Kevin surpasses him slowly throughout the series. Kenneth is really unexpecting. Whenever there’s a problem, he will always solve it, like his personality. But no one can guess what he’s up to, I always anticipate scenes where he solves the problem and I can never guess what he’s up to. Just can’t stop talking about how Kenneth’s character shone in this series. He never gives up in this series, he tries his best and aims for something for the family. But unfortunately he get asthma and cannot fights much in the series. Love his smartness and he is so funny. Like how he gives people a lecture, like to Chan Gill and finally she tells KC that she kidnapped him. And also how Yuen Chao finally agreed to take the operation in ep 5. It feels like Kenneth was playing himself, the funny side of him.
(Note-Stupid Blogger deleted my thoughts about Kenneth, had to retype it =.=")
Selena Li (Wing Tsz Ching) - Selena is my second favorite character. Really enjoyed watching Selena and kenneth scenes, they always flirt around. Like the last scene. And all the bike riding scenes. But I couldn't believe that Selena actually wanted to commit suicide. I mean, her character was so out-going. Lol. Feel sorry for her. Luckily Kenneth saved her (:
Dominic Lam (Wing Tak) - He was so evil! His actions are deadly evil. If TVB makes a Best Villian, Dominic will really deserve it. His acting skills are great. I can't believe his evilness though. He can so act like he didn't kill Yuen Chao's father and step-mother, and that his son didn't kill Ah Guang. He made his daughters believe him. He saves his son and lets him participate again and pretends to 'think' that's his son. His death was unexpecting to me, I was expecting something else. Lol
Kara Hui (Cheung Sheung Chu) - Kara was one loving mother, her acting skills was great too. Her evil smile to Yuen Chao when they went to their house to try get Eric Li to jail was SO evil!!! I mean, she wasn't really an evil character... but yet she had such a evil smile! XD But her ending was really sad.
Natalie Tong (Ying Ngan Ming) - One breakthrough character for Natalie. Her character was interesting, had many crying scenes. I liked the boat scene, she cries so much, wanting to help find her brother. And super sad when she talks about her past, thoses scenes made me cry. Cried the most when she said that Tavia said she doesn't want Natalie to be like her son. And so agree with Kevin in the end, Natalie's character has such a bad life. Getting Abounded by her father, and getting raped and then getting kidnapped. Eric Li was such a creepy character, following Ah Ngan and singing behind her back. Shivers...
I liked watching where Kenneth tries to encourage Natalie to stand back up after her getting raped. By showing her that people won;'t make fun of her, she needs to stand out the tell everyone the truth.
Shirley Yeung (Koo Man Kuen) - Shirley's character was a bit loud and kinda exggerating. Wish she had a bigger role. I think I'd prefer they didn't change the script and just make Shirley a greedy character. Because her role like this is wayyy too small!! And I didn't know that Shirley ws paired with Jack. Lol. But hey... did they even end up?! They didn't talk about it... is her role THAT small... =.="
Jacky Heung (Wing Man Kuan) - He gets such a big role his first time. I think he was fake. Acting skills is not THAT good, and I personally think he's kinda ugly, no offense okay... But recon he looks a little better when he was dressed neatly, when he 'DIED'
Nancy Wu (Chow Bing Bing) - I seriously hated Nancy for a while when she was complaining how Ram killed her father and makes him make lies to Kevin’s family. I was like ‘serves you right’ when watching the scene where Ram told everyone the truth. And especially where she kept making random things accusing Natalie. I still think her character is so fake. Even in the end, it felt like she was just pretending... but whatever. I don't like her character.
Pairings:Kenneth Ma & Selena Li (Koo Yue Tong & Wing Tzs Ching) - I fell in love with this couple. I love how they call each other, "Tong Gor Jai" and "Ah Mui" I liked how they always bump into each other when riding bikes. Kenneth is hilarous! I really liked the ending of them. Even though they didn't really say they ended up together but it was so cute! XD I thought the last ep would of talk about the family in the last second but no, it was KS! XD I wanna see them pair up again!!!!! :)
Kevin Cheng & Natalie Tong (Koo Yue Cheung & Ying Ngan Ming) - This couple was average. They were okay. They didn't talk much about their ending anyway. But Kevin cared a lot for Natalie, that was cute (:
Kevin Cheng & Nancy Wu (Koo Yue Cheung & Chow Bing Bing) - Love triangles are getting into me... I don't like them that much now. This couple... is fake... what;s the point of their realtionship when she lies about everything about herself... even if you're REALLY real this time, you shouldn't lie.
Favorites:Actor: Kenneth Ma!
Actress: Selena Li!!
Least Favorite Character: N/A Or maybe Nancy? Well, I didn't hate her ALl the time, just then she was making stuff up
Improved Character: Natalie Tong
Funny Character: Kenneth Ma!
Couple: Kenneth and Selena!
Scenes: Sorry, but I had heaps, I've listed some before already in the review (:
My Rate to this series: 9/10
Worth Watching?
Yes! I really enjoyed it! And miss it now! If you actually noticed, I have 9/10, which is also same rate to Rosy Business. Lol. or maybe 8.5? Anyone actually thinks it doesn't worth that much or actually didn't like Fistful?
Wow, this is one long review. I wonder if anyone would really read it XD haha. Thanks to those who actually read my thoughts! *bows*

The beauty school that Selena Li invested in had it's grand opening yesterday. Kenneth Ma, Nancy Wu, Linda Chung, Kevin Cheng, Timmy Hung, Shirley Yeung, Elaine Yiu, Macy Chan, Lai Lok Yi, Yoyo Chen, Angel Chiang, Rabee'a Yeung, and Priscilla Chik came to support Selena. Her ex-boyfriend Patrick Tang did not attend. Selena said, "Patrick Tang has to promote the release of his new album, so he was unable to attend. I was disappointed, but he did send a flower basket. I also hope that his album sells well". She expressed that Patrick provided his opinion regarding the name of the school. She felt extreme pressure about the grand opening. Two days ago, she was emotionally stressed; Patrick also consoled her. Selena expressed that her good friends came to support her without receiving a fee. She said, "Originally, I was afraid that none of my friends would be able come". When she went on stage to thank her artistes friends, she was moved to tears.
On Selena's collar bone area, she had a rub on tattoo of a swallow. She explained, "I hope that when every student graduates, they will become independent like a swallow". She expressed that the renovation fee was expensive, that is why she asked her other friends to invest. Selena, who majored in business, expressed that the the fee was originally $600,000, but now it has exceeded over $1,000,000. However, she did not calculate when she get her returns, as she simply enjoying the process. When asked whether she would be an instructor, she laughed and said, "I'm not qualified to teach because all of the instructors in the school are highly qualified". Although she has become a lady boss, she does not have plans to reduce any onscreen performances.
