My Better Half Review
Name: My Better Half
Episodes: 20
Genre: Modern, Comedy
Cast: Michael Miu, Maggie Cheung, Michael Tse, Teresa Lee, Mandy Cho, Mimi Lo, Derek Kwok, etc

My Comments:
In my opinion, this series' cast is not appealing at all. I also never anticipated this series, but in the end, it was one funny drama. The scene that I can never forget is in episode 1 where Michael Miu hids the stockings from Maggie by saying he's making 'stocking milk tea' That was so funny!! Not just that scene, there were many other funny scenes too. It was a bit exggerated how Maggie watches over her husband so badly, I mean she should know his personality by then after 7 years of together, even though there was a mistaken on the day they got married. That mistake was really... just weird... But anyway. Overall, the series was entertaining, but because of the non-appealing cast, sometimes I can't be bothered watching, yes, i did miss a few episodes.

This drama is just hilarous! I find it Derek and Oscar's name very funny, esp Derek's! And then his son/daughter's name was so freaking hilarous!!! Oscar's one was funny too. But i recon the last few episodes where they talked about Maggie having a misscarriage and then following by her mother in law's cancer went a bit overboard since this is a comedy, they put too much sad things all together. It came up too quickly and sudden, and then there was the fight with Maggie and her husband. Maybe they should of added other parts to let us digest the sudden sadness of the story since it was mostly happy the whole way through. Anyway. I enjoyed watching the two Michael's, they were both very funny. loved the part where Michael Miu was pretending to be "Kong Sai Hau" as himself from E.U. And all that 'Laughing Gor' stuff too. Teresa mentioned and also Michael Miu in the end.

I find it a bit weird yet funny how Michael Miu described marriage like entering the entertainment circle. But that last scene was just funny, I LOVED the part wher he said Maggie started to be two faced after their marriage, he said that Maggie was complaining how her mother in law was making her life hard outside the lifts and when she steps into the house with her mother in law, she changes her face and says, "Mother-in law,I'vce missed you!" Lol, that was epic.. in some way ^^And, I also loved the last addition part where Teresa gives birth and Jamie Chik comes out as a guestrole as a nurse or something. And most hilarous is how they the 2 Michaels go, "I'm the baby's father!" And maggie going, "I'm the baby's mother!" And especially where Maggie's father in law goes, "And.." And then Jamie goes, "Don't tell me you're the baby's father?" And Maggie's mother in law goes, "Couse not! We're the baby's grandmother/father." Hmm.. I'm just saying the funny scenes here. I should stop. ^^

Characters:
Michael Miu (Ching Sum) - Well, never anticipated his performance or anything, I don't mean his acting is bad okay. It's just that he doesn't really appeal to me nor that I like him. But in the end, his character was just funny. Well Done.

Maggie Cheung (Ko Lai Sum) - Typing the 'Sum' reminds me they said they should call the baby, "Ching Sum Sum" combining Maggie and Michael M's name. Anyway, Maggie was interesting to watch. Oh also loved the part where Jazz go, "Wearing a dress is what a girls normally do, but a man wearing a dress is different"

Michael Tse (Ching Yee) - Hm..Laughing Gor was interesting. But I kinda think Michael Miu was more funny in this series. Did everyone see? Where that episode, they have shots of his room from his mother/father's house and there's this picture of him when he's little, with his head not and a kid's body! XD Made me laugh!!

Teresa Lee (Miu Ling Ji/Gigi) - Her character was way more interesting to watch compared to You're Hired. That character was not interesting at all and boring compared to this one. Her personality was more like competitive and etc which made her character more interesting to watch.

Mandy Cho (Yau Ka Lei/Yuki) - Parts with her and her husband, Mr Sam Seung was funny, especially where she and Michael T tries to get him to wake up. Didn't in particular like her, but was it just me? The guy next to her in the end looked like a girl? Or WAS it a girl??

Relationships/Pairings:

Michael Miu & Maggie Cheung (Ching Sum & Ko Lai Sum) -
They were funny. How he's so scared of his wife was funny. I find it funny how he said the bathroom was his little world. Lol?
Yeah, they went through quite a lot of obstacles, their love seemed very real, it was very touching seeing how much they love each other. The scene where Michael tells his brother that he pays attention a lot to his wife and how much he cares was very touching.

Michael Tse & Teresa Lee (Ching Yee & Miu Ling Ji) -
OMG. It was so freakin funny where Teresa decided to compete with Mandy. Loved that question, "Who would you save first if both I and Yuki (Mandy) fell into the sea?" In the end, he saved Yuki but chose Teresa. But anyway, this pairing was funny and interesting to watch. Sad I missed some eps of them.

Michael Tse & Mandy Cho (Ching Yee & Yau Ka Lei) - It's normal to be with Mandy since Michael has loved her for so long and still hasn't forgetten her. But they made him change his mind and turned to Teresa. Quite dramatic aye. But sometimes these stuff do happen i guess O.o

Favorites:

New Layout
Ah yea, new layout. For some reason the old layout went back to normal? It wasn't shifted to the side anymore... so WEIRD!! But anyway, decided to change anyway. Hope everyone likes it. I haven't been featuring Selena in ages so decided to ^^

Though there's no sidebar, I decided to put the tagboard on the page so its easier to communicate, other than clicking to a page. But sadly, can't fit a music player or poll. Maybe I should make another page for entertainment? Haha XD

Anyway, since I can't fit my poll in anymore, my poll will end. Here are the results.

Linda wins. Teresa and 'None' ties second. Lol and Both third, only one vote XD Anyway... I'll think about adding a poll somewhere, I like seeing people vote on my polls haha ^^
Don Juan DeMercado Review
Name: Don Juan DeMercado
Episodes: 6
Genre: Love, Entertainment, Modern
Cast: Wong Cho Lam, Bosco Wong, Christine Kuo, Kitty Yuen, Kate Tsui, Joel Chen etc

My Comments:
After reading the synopsis, i got interested in this series. Though it was short, it was quite enjoyable watching this series. But I find this series quite exaggerating! XD Like I have said before, they exaggerate too much on Wong Cho Lam's appearance. Personally, I dont think Wong Cho Lam is THAT ugly or anything, just a little short. They did something to his eyes right? They look so sleepy...And they also exgerated how 'good-looking' Bosco is.

It's quite interesting watching once in a while these kinda series. Though its very unrealstic. I thought they went over a bit by saying that Christine made those choclate or should i say 'medicine' up and she turned into that fat man and gave him that heart shaped chocolate. I actually had the idea before watching that would it be in the end that Kitty ate the magical choclate like Wong Cho Lam and turned into Christine? But I was very close, it was the other way round. It was Christine eating that 'chocolate' that SHE made and turned into Kitty.

It's also quite obvious that Wong Cho Lam chooses not to turn into Bosco. He'll lose himself and etc if he does. But anyway, the ending wasn't too bad after all. I enjoyed watching this 6 episode drama. But didn't like how TVBJ put it on once a week, took me ages to finish this. I liked the end part where Bosco goes up to a random person wanting him to say, "You're Gan Lik Shun!" But instead the guy went, "You're Bosco Wong!!" Haha, that was funny ^^

And I now get why in the official poster, Kate wasn't in the picture but instead Christine was. It'sactually just two characters with another side of themselve. Kate really loved Bosco in here... well his FACE... but really him. She totally avioded him when seeing him in his real form. I like the addition of gues roles, especially Kenneth Ma! XD Ep 2 and 6.

Characters:
Wong Cho Lam (Gung Yan Tung) - This series kinda tells us to 'be yourself' and also for the love season. I dont have much to say actually...

Bosco Wong (Gan Lik Shun) - I enjoyed watching Bosco parts ^^ I don't really have much to say really...

Christine Kuo (Yeung Sin Wah) - I recon the ending went really quickly, how they suddenly said that she actually liked WCL back from highschool and suddenly that she made all those chocolates. Her voice is really dubbed and her character only appears like in ep 1 and 6?

Kitty Yuen (Ging Ji Ko) - Liked her intro, "Watashi wa Ging Ji Ko desu."

Kate Tsui (Tse On Fei) - I didn't particular like Kate's character. She liked Bosco but yea like I said before, she only likes his face.

Favorites:
Actor: Bosco ^^
Actress: Hm... Chrisitine? She needs to improve.
Least Favorite Character: N/A
Couple: N/A
My Rate to this series: 3/5 ***

Worth Watching?
Well, its only 6 episodes, I think its not bad. Quite interesting, just think that they rushed the end a bit. And exgerated parts of the story.
Stuffed my layout
ARGG HELP!! I stuffed the layout! Was only trying to pur the stupid poll on the sidebar and it ended up like this and when i tried taking it off it was STILL like this =.=" I think i need to change the layout == And i was planning to use this other banner after the Linda one =.=" I'll save it another time or use it for new layout..sighh... ==

EDIT: Okay, this is VERY weird... I just tried Internet Explorer to view my blog and the layout was all okay. But Firefox is JUST weird... Sighh.. I don't get it ==

This is how mines viewed. See how the sidebar and stuff are moved at one side? Weird huh? Actually not just moved, after the latest post, the other posts texts are all times new roman... very weird...

And this is IE. All right... weird...

So, if anyone sees what i have on my firefox or something weird, please tell me. but im still planning to change new layout. with the banner i made.
A Similar Scene
I spotted a similar scene while watching My Better Half Episode 14 where Teresa (Gigi) confesses her love to Michael. She confesses without talking but writing it down on a huge notebook. And the similar scene is!! Linda Chung's Miss You Day And Night MV. They both wanna confess because they don't want to regret it since the 'guys' in these scene already have a girlfriend.

Gigi tells Ching Yee to not talk.

She starts talking about how she was mad but she was hapy for him that Yuki (Mandy Cho) came back to him.

She confesses.

She loves him until he turns into THAT.

In Linda's MV, its pretty much the same:

She tells him to be quiet like Teresa (Actually this MV was before MBH)

She talks. Both Linda and Teresa have this picture in the notebook with big guys with muscles saying that they will date some good guy later.

And confesses.

She'll love him until he turns into THAT picture too.

So which scene do you like more? Suddenly had this idea, I'll put a poll up! XD Please vote!

New Lay + Double Image Guessing!!

In The Eye of Beholder Thoughts

Just felt like writing this. I watched 7 episodes, ep 8 out tonight. I was anticipating for this, so I decided to watch it online instead of waiting for TVBJ. I think it was quite interesting and entertaining. It reminds me of A Bride for a Ride. But hopefully better than ABRAR. Really love the themesong, it's hilarous! XD
But I find it kinda weird how they found out Moses is Tong Bak Fu so easily and in Ep 7 O.o I didn't expect that at all.... I keep wondering... if they found out already, what are they gonna talk about for the rest of the episodes? That's another thing that reminded me of ABFAR. In ABFAR, i also didn't expect Chin Ka Lot to 'take away' Sammul so quickly. It seems that Beholder is very quick too the storyline. I just hope it's not as boring as A Bride for a Ride. Personally, I didn't like ABFAR that much.
But for Beholder, I am really looking forward to Fala's appearance! And she STILL hasn't appeared yet!! Even Chris has... and I was also wondering, is he ever gonna appear AGAIN? It seems like he's a guestrole for some reason. I didn't see much of his face in the themevideo either... Also look forward to Elaine and Johnson's storyline. In Elaine's profile for Shek Lau, it says that Johnson fell in love with her after the 'kiss' but he didn't, so I really wonder how they will fall in love. ^^ Hopefully this series won't be too bad ^^ Enjoying it at the moment.
Icons

I made some icons for a friend. Yeah, there they are. I didn't bother using different textures or anything, so used the same textures for each. But i think it came out alright ^^ I like the first, thrid and fourth most ^^ And yups, they're screencaptures from the commerical for valentines day featuring bosco and selena for ocean park. How does everyone think of themm XD haha, very plain and simple huh? =) The icons are made for a layout of a friend's, check it out here if you wanna ^^

[NON TVB] Yoon Eun Hye & Park Shin Hye
Note: This is non-TVB related. Just did it for the fun of it. And note that I am NOT into Korean stuff or anything, just that been watching a K-Drama recently ^^

Yeah, well people had recommended me watching the Korean Drama, "You're Beautiful" And yes, I started watching it, not finished yet but nearly. The female lead, "Park Shin Hye" which many people might know, really reminds me of Yoon Eun Hye, another actress that has starred in "Princess Hours" and "Coffee Prince"

(Yoon Eun Hye-left, Park Shin Hye-right)

If I didn't say who they are, don't you recon they look A LIKE? I recon they look really a like, especially with their short hair. As for Yoon Eun Hye, that picture is from Coffee Prince, I don't think she was pretending a guy but she was mistakened because of her tomboy look? Correct me if I'm wrong, never watched it. And as for Park Shin Hye, that picture is from You're Beautiful, she plays a girl disguing a guy, acting as her twin brother as a singer with a band, A.N.JELL.

(Yoon Eun Hye-left, Park Shin Hye-right)

Anyway, these pictures above are when they look normal. Not as a like probably? They both look pretty here.

Ah anyway, who else here watched You're Beautiful? Very nice aye? I'm quite slow... so yea. Really like the character Jeremy. Guy below. He's so funny and cute ^^ But he's the main character.

New Banner
Yup, a new banner. I liked the old one but decided to change. When I was thinking about who should I use to make, In the Eye of Beholder came through my head. Then I decided to use Fala Chen since she looks so cute in there ^^ Looking forward to her performance in there. Hopefully the series won't be too bad, it seems quite funny.

Here's a promo clip of In The Eye of Beholder. Love when Fala goes, "Tong Ba Fu? I know as a mouse" Lol.

And the themesong, the lyrics are so freakin funny ^^

In The Eye of Beholder

Name: In The Eye of Beholder
Episodes: 20
Genre: Ancient
Cast: Moses Chan, Myolie Wu, Fala Chen, Ha Yu, Johnson Lee, Elaine Yiu, Chris Lai etc
Synopsis:

In search of the last model for his painting "Nine Pretty Women", acclaimed scholar TONG PAK FU (Moses Chan) goes on a trip to Hangzhou with his ardent disciple WAT KEI (Lee Sze Chit). While there, he meets a pretty young maid from WAH's Residence, CHAU HEUNG (Myolie Wu). FU is mesmerized by HEUNG's beauty and martial agility and falls in love with her right away. In order to approach the girl, he disguises as a servant and assumes the pseudonym WAH ON, seeking to win her affections with his talent and ingenuity. But contrary to his wishes, HEUNG is unmoved and even harbours an intense dislike for him after a series of misunderstandings. Master of the family WAH HUNG SHAN (Ha Yu) knew from the very beginning that FU is not a common man. By the time his true identity is revealed, the scholar has already developed a close bond with the whole of the family, except HEUNG.
In the meantime, Prince LING (Tsang Wai Kuen), who has been attempting to rebel against Emperor CHING TAK (Lai Lok Yi), has managed to involve FU in his conspiracy by stratagem, thus getting the man and the WAHs into big trouble. LING's daughter CHU TING YUK (Fala Chen) is in love with FU. Desperate to save her dream man, she forces LING to release FU by threatening to kill herself. YUK's consuming passion for FU seems to have caused a ripple of unease in HEUNG, who is starting to feel a little twinge of jealousy inside.
