Sweetness In The Salt Ep 1 - 3 Review [Stevia Moments]

Tavia belongs in a salt gang, she is the daughter of the salt gang. Their salt gang gets betrayed by someone. She and her family gets separated. She accidentally falls into the sea and Raymond Wong saves her.
She and Raymond goes back to "Yeung Zhou" and Tavia finds out her parents have died and the person who betrayed them was Steven Ma, the one she loved. Steven met Tavia and they feel in love, Steven then joined the salt gang and betrayed them because he was an undercover from the government.
She wanted to take revenge but her kung fu wasn't as good to harm Steven.
Steven tells and asks Raymond to look after Tavia, he knows he cannot anymore. Also, Tavia currently lives with Raymond and his family.
Steven's mother wants Steven to get married, so they try to get him with Raymond Wong's sister. He refuses and sees Tavia and says:

Episode 4 didn't had any of their scenes. But what happened was, Raymond's family, his sisters didn't like Tavia because Steven likes her. So they try getting her out of their place, they succed but when Tavia heard what Steven and Raymond said, she didn't.
And as for ep 5, I will talk abit when I have my next episode review up.
Anyway... so far I recon this series isn't bad, I like watching Steven amd Tavia! Hope they wil be more scenes of them soon.

Synopsis:

By pretending to be friendly with the one who made him in jail, the gang leader TO YIK TIN (Lam Lei), XIAO is eager to get even with him, and also intends to draw two young policemen to his side in order to strengthen his influence. LEE PAK KIU (Sammul Chan) from the Emergency Unit is reluctant to get close with a gangster while CHUNG LAP MAN (Ng Cheuk Hai, Ron) from Special Duty Squad believes that XIAO could help them fight against TIN by acting as an informer. MAN develops a close relationship with him gradually but he has been dismissed before accomplishing the task. Afterwards, XIAO takes MAN under his wing and MAN devotes himself to the triad society.

My Comments: This series looks good! I will watch this series! But probably will watch it later than everyone else. Too slow here == Yay! Ron is a undercover this time, sunds like fun! XD

Characters:
Gigi Lai (Contance Hong):
Gigi's character was alright, I liked how she is very kinda and etc, but she's a bit TOO nice, which gets tricked really easily. I also don't really like how she cries everytime something happens. Her crying scenes were great, but she cries too much like a crybaby. And also, she is very postive that she has to even control people or something? I just think she's too nice and thinks way TOO positive. But I like her character more than others.
Maggie Siu (Sylvia Hong):
Maggie's character is alright too? I don't like her that much, there were times I liked her and times I don't. I hate how she used her family near the end bit. It was very sad how Gigi was crying finding out even her biggest sister lied to her, she felt really betrayed.
Ada Choi (Jessica Hong):
I don't like her character much, I recon she is evil and selfish, but someties I think she's alright, when she DOES care about her family though. I felt heart broken for Gigi to have a little sister like her when she actually even THOUGHT about killing her, a important family member, just to get away from crime.
Moses Chan (Terrence Ho):
Moses ia alright, I enoyed his and Gigi's scenes but not in the beginning how they were so boring. I didn't like how he kinda betrayed Gigi. But they are such a cute couple in the end though.
Bowie Lam (Calvin Ko):
His character was funny in the beginning how he and Maggie always hated each other, I enjoyed watching their beginning but the middle how she kept helping her, I just didn't like watching that. I don't like that much in the middle but beginning and end was alright.
Wong Hei (Shek Tai Wor):
He's alright I guess. His character is boring? But he's really nice. I wish he ended up with Ada but they didn't talk much about it.
Linda Chung (Elise Sung):
Linda's character is alright too. I don't particular like much characters expect for Linda and Gigi. Linda's character was bad at the beginning, I liked how she acted so evil, so different from her usual roles, so I enjoyed watching her.
Bosco Wong (Will Shek):
He is alright too, I like watching him and Linda, so sweet of him to remember back the days of him and her and the pen! And then he goes to America to find him. So less of their scenes though and I actually skipped quite alot due to some reasons.
Sunny Yau (Kenny Wong):
He is alright..I don't have much to talk about him. But was so suprised that he character was gay.

GEM OF LIFE REVIEW (i)
The Story:
This series isn't very good, I don't like it much, so I won't talk too much on it and rest of the character review and etc, will be out after this soon.
The ending...lots of people say it was very crappy and etc etc. I thought the ending was alright I guess. It was a happy ending. I liked how they all three finally get it and stops all this arugements and etc. They DID leave lots of stuff for people to think about what is going to happen next, eg.
- What will happen to Bosco (Will) and Linda (Elise)?
- Will Kenny (Sunny) wake up?
- What will happen to Gigi (Constance) and Moses (Terrence)?
- Also, there was a scene where Ada bath tub suicide, and it wasn't there in the series.
Anyway, those three are all for your imagintion to think and what about the last one I mentioned...weird, TVB probably cut it out. Anyway, back to the story. This story is overall boring. I skipped a lot of episodes and some scenes were just so boring, I can't even bother watching. There were scenes that were better, but there weren't much really. I don't enjoy watching long boring series like "Gem" So I really don't like this series. This series is very 'real'..coz now days, in the marketing world it's really like The Gem of Life. They're like making a series showing you how they do business. It's really real but I really don't have interest in business stuff, maybe someone that studys commerce would like? LOL.
I don't particular like any scenes or episodes, but some interesting ones are like the Linda making Gigi and Moses relationship bad..I know I've mentioned this a few times, but I really can't think of any other scenes that was good.
Btw, I kinda don't mind they how in the end, they made Lee Sze Ki suddenly thought about the pass. It was good thing to remember I guess...?
I really don't have much to say anymore about this series.. All i can say is... "BORING!"

Harlem and Patrick as "Boom Boom Ba's" host, ratings have reached up to 26 points, highest was 28 points. Yesterday, the guests were Kate Tsui, Bosco Wong, Selena Li and Michael Tse.
Yesterday was Selena Li's birthday, she and her rumoured boyfriend, Patrick Tang became Harlem's laughing stock. When the show had started, Harlem asked Selena to use her body to make sounds, but Patrick laughs at her saying "小狗女在叫春" (directly translated = little dog girl calling for spring, I have no idea what it means, sorry.) Harlem says loudly, "How do you chase after her?" Patrick was speechless. When they were taking photos, newsporters requested Patrick to kiss Selena to wish her happy birthday. Although he looked embarrassed, but in the end, he pretended to kiss her. Selena says Patrick did give her a birthday present, but didn't reveal what it was. Asked her if it was a house? She says if so, then she can't recieve it. Patrick said that you can wear the present, to Selena, his present is very precious? He smiles and says, Most precious is that if the present is from your heart (心意, dunno how to say that in english).
My Comments: YAYY! Selena went on Boom Boom Ba! Can't wait for this episode to come!!! ^^ Sorry for the poor translation though.

As everyone knows, there's bushfire in Australia!! And if you don't know, they say its as big as 3 HONG KONG'S!!! It was so sad hearing the people talk that was there. Over 180 people died and there are still alot of people have been missing and lots injurged and now homeless! They stay at this thing, not sure what it is and i heard water and food are running out! This bushfire is like the biggest one out of 100 years in Australia. It has said that this bushfire wasn't JUST because of the extremely hot weather but also, SOMEONE actually DID this on purpose! Some of the people I have heard on news say:
A man lose two children, he said that he knows that whatever he does, he cannot make them came back alive!
a woman said that she was going to close her eyes, but she knew closing eyes meant to die, so she is still alive now.
I can't remember so many at the moment, but there are heaps more sad stories, the reason I post this, is...just wanted to let people know and if you can, please DONATE TO THE AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS NOW!

What does everyone think of their costumes? They all look nice in my opinon, but...
For Tavia...maybe coz its red and so bright and even her makeup too, it already tells you she will be a high cocubine. But I actually don't really like what she wears and her thingy on her head.
For Tracy, her's is better I guess? Her clothes are nice, quite plain ish. Her hair thingy is alright.
I like Selena's one more. I like what she'es wearing out of all and her hair nice but the thing pointing out is a bit funny. I like the dangling thing near her face.
And last, Mandy, her's is really good too. I like her clothes alot, can't really decide if I like her's more or Selena's, both good. And as for her hair thingy is nice too, I like those dangling things.
Sorry my weird language..calling those hairstyles thingy.... lols, please don't mind, but I really prefer other hairstyles that are not so....weird like those.

Synopsis:

TIN's nephew MO SHING CHI (Lai Yiu Cheung) is jealous and he seeks every opportunity to frame him up. CHI accuses KIT for colluding with his daughter TIK CHING LUEN's (Liu Bernice Jan) husband SUNG TING YUK (Chan Kam Hung) of treason and an attempt to subvert TIN's throne. My Comments: This series doesn't seem to be very internesting to me. I don't like these type dramas, so many people and it's ancient too. The only thing I look forward in this series is watching Leila Tong and maybe Bernice since I haven't seen her for a while. Synopsis sounds a bit boring too...

Moses Chan: The victim should speak up.
"I did not hear of this incident, but I have heard once or twice about filming an arguing scene that a male artiste and a female artiste had physical contact. Later it was rumoured that the male artiste accidentally touched the female artiste's sensitive area. If the person in TVB really is a victim, then she must speak up! Most importantly, they (TVB) must investigate to see if the guy was intentional or accidental. If the guy did it on purpose, then the cops must get involved and publicize the incident. (What if the female artiste was your girlfriend?) It doens't matter who that person is, if she has encounter this, I'll encourage her to speak up."

But if I know who the "colour wolf" is, I'll remind the female artistes to be more careful and I won't let them have any alone time with this "colour wolf." If I see it, I'll walk up close to them and keep an eye on them. I'm guessing the "colour wolf" won't do anything daring in public."
This "Magician Salt Pork Hand" incident is getting way out of hand. Ming Pao Weekly is also reporting on it, but they are not pointing fingers. MPW is basically asking every artiste in TVB.Astrid Chan says she has never filmed any travel programme.
Sonija Kwok says there was no such incident and if such thing was to happen to her, she would slap him.
Kingdom Yuen says she will not respond to thing anymore. A few people know who it is because she told them about these incidents. She also says that the media is exaggerating everything, so she does not want to respond on it.
Steven Ma: "How come so many Ma's suspects? Actually, Kingdom told me who he is and I was shocked to know.
"Ellesmere Choy: "There is no name stated, so I have no response at the moment. But I am unhappy to become one of the suspects. I do know a little bit of magic, but I have never filmed a travel programme with Astrid Chan before. Also, my contact with Sonija Kwok is very little.
"Joe Ma has not responded yet.
Myolie Wu: "No one has approached me with magic maybe I'm not a candidate. I believe he ("Magician") will not do it again in public." (What would you do in such situation?) "Ron Ng: "I believe Joe is not a suspect because he does not know magic." He hopes that the female artistes will step forward, only that can prevent similar incidents from happening. Otherwise, this will affect TVB's image.
Roger Kwok and Benz Hui both expressed that Ellesmere does not know magic.
Kiki Sheung knows that Ellesmere knows magic, but believes it is not him because she has filmed two series with Ellesmere before and has never seen Ellesmere "Salt Pork Hand" anyone.
Sunny Chan wants Kingdom to reveal the true culprit.
TVB General Manager, Stephen Chan has not received any complaints from female artistes, which makes this case has no plaintiff and no defendant. Rumour has it that this has happened a long time ago, so it will be passed to Miss Lok (Virgina Lok) for further understanding.
Virgina Lok says she has seen the reports and says that Kingdom did not say it was TVB artistes, but she will contact Kingdom to understand the situation. "I have never received any complaints from female artistes and I have asked Sonija's and Astrid's manager and they have never heard of such incident." She also thinks it is weird because if there was such matter, how come the female artistes never spoke up? (What is your opinion on so many male suspects?) "No one will believe it."

My Comments: I agree that everyone is just a bit exggerating this. I don't really think its any of them but out of all Ellesmere Choi is would be who I'm thinking it might be. There might really be a Salty Pork Hand but I think that person might be behind the scenes? Not a TVB artist. I hope its not really any of the artists. And agree that Kingdom maybe should say who it is..it's gonna affect those suspected artists image and reputation...
